Birds of a Feather ~ Mixed Media Canvas Collage

Hey everyone!!! I know...I know...it's been a while since my last post/project!!! Yikes!!! BUT...finally I completed a mixed media canvas (inspired by Finnabair)! For all the details on this canvas, be sure to watch my start-to-finish video by clicking here. I hope you like it! I had lots of fun playing with some lighter...pastel colors ;-)

Be sure to check out Lindy's Stamp Gang to purchase the fabulous sprays I used in this canvas ;-)

  7. Hi Leanne, thank you for your wonderful tutorial on mixed media on Youtube. Tomorrow, I going to have a class of Anna Dabrovska here in the Netherlands, so I was preparing for it. I found your film on Youtube of your canvas Imagine and that has inspired me totally. I really think you make gorgeous things, so I became your follower to see everything you create! :-)

  9. Leanne, I recently came across your youtube videos and I am in love with your work! You are so talented and inspiring. I used your "Sweet November" videos to help me get started with a Finnabair-type collage and I just wanted to thank you for making the process less intimidating. I am definitely following your blog now and plan to watch many more of your videos :) PS-here's my finished collage, if you want to see: http://artsylynn.blogspot.com/2013/05/recent-art.html

  12. Hello Leanne, I've just discovered your YouTube videos and I am now a huge admirer of your art! It is fantastic! I love the videos, you've inspired me to move forward to create my own mixed media collages. I've tried before, but never been happy with my work. I can't thank you enough for sharing how you create such lovely and meaningful pieces of beauty! Finally having some time to make something, I began a collage for my daughter. The beginnings are on my neglected blog, it is beachstudio.blogspot.com if you'd like to peak. I hope you are well....Thanks so much! Linda

  15. Red Bear and I have made and played with your texture paste recipes a lot. Today, Red Bear made her first ever blog post and I can share links to some of what we've done with it. Note: We first made the paste in Nov 2013, today, Nov 2015 mine is officially too stiff to use, but it kept well for over a year and a half in an old pill bottle.
